Not much can get me as excited about riding my bike into town as a thermometer that says 18 degrees (Fahrenheit, or about -8 C) and visibly accumulating snow. No joke. I made it three miles to the Greenbriar Collective house without getting cold to speak of, except a little in my left second toe. Not bad considering I was wearing sandals.
In other news, I got a new house this week, with gizer
, and elusivethereal
. It's in town, relatively close to campus and other common in-town destinations, which is convenient, though I will miss having woods nearby. It's a big house, with 5 bedrooms, 2 living rooms, and 2 kitchens. The address will be given a more secure post. This will be the new location for the monthly dinner parties, which might additionally be increased in frequency. We haven't set a date for the first one yet, but I'd personally like to do something on or immediately before the winter solstice, which is the 21st. How do folks feel about that date?
